As the first major hurricane to truly threaten our area in years, the stakes couldn't be higher. While evacuation is an option, it's not as simple as packing a bag and hitting the road. Our beloved animals - from chickens to dogs - can't easily be moved, and their care weighs heavily on our minds. The thought of being unable to return home to tend to them is gut-wrenching. Yet, the potential fury of Milton looms large, challenging us to balance safety with responsibility.
